Ensuring Smooth Admission: Essential Documents Checklist
As the admission season approaches, it's crucial for students and their guardians to be well-prepared with the necessary documentation to facilitate a seamless admission process. Whether it's for an educational institution or a specialized examination, having the required paperwork in order can make all the difference. Here's a comprehensive checklist of documents you'll need to provide for admission to AISSAC-2024:
1. Duly signed Checklist with undertaking (Original): This document serves as an acknowledgment of the submission of all necessary paperwork. It's essential to ensure that all items on the checklist are appropriately filled out and signed as per the provided format.
2. Provisional Admission Letter from AISSAC-2024: This letter, issued by the AISSAC-2024 portal, confirms the provisional admission of the student. It's a crucial piece of documentation indicating acceptance into the institution.
3. Admit Card of AISSEE-2024: Issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the admit card is a mandatory requirement for appearing in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2024.
4. Score Card of AISSEE-2024: Also issued by the NTA, the scorecard provides detailed information about the student's performance in the AISSEE-2024 examination.
5. Government Issued Photo ID Proof: This includes photo ID proofs of the student, father, and mother/guardian, containing address details. Preferably, Aadhar Card serves as a valid proof.
6. Medical Fitness Report: A report confirming the student's medical fitness, as per the specified format provided in Appendix ‘M’, is required. This ensures that the student is physically capable of meeting the demands of the academic program.
7. Proof of Date of Birth: A copy of the birth certificate issued by the competent government authority or date of birth proof issued by the concerned record office is mandatory. For serving defense personnel, documentation from the concerned Record Office is required, while for ex-servicemen, a dependent certificate by Zila Sainik Board is necessary.
8. Study Certificate: Duly signed by the Principal/Headmaster of the Class V/Class VIII school, this certificate validates the student's academic history and is provided as per the specified format.
9. Certificate of Category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL), if applicable: Issued by the competent authority as per the Government of India format, this certificate is necessary for students belonging to these categories. For OBC-NCL category students, the certificate must be issued on or after January 1, 2022.
10. Domicile/Residence Certificate: Issued by the competent authority as per state government rules, this certificate serves as proof of the student's domicile or residence.
11. Certificate of Service: For defense category (serving) students, a certificate signed by the CO/OC of the unit is required. For ex-servicemen, a Pension Payment Order (PPO) serves as documentation, with a stipulated deadline for submission.
12. Income Certificate: Issued by a competent authority, this certificate must adhere to the specified format and include income from all sources for the financial year 2022-23. It must have been issued on or after April 1, 2023, and affidavits/IT returns will not be considered as substitutes.
13. Photographs: Five passport-size photographs of the candidate and two post-card-sized family photographs (parents along with children) are to be provided. Ensure that all photographs are recent and meet the specified requirements.
