The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently declared the results of the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2023, which was conducted on January 08, 2023, in 180 cities across India. The exam was held for admissions to Class-VI and Class-IX in 33 pre-existing and 18 newly approved Sainik Schools. This year, a record number of 1,79,809 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 1,24,467 candidates cleared the written examination.

Highest Marks Scored in AISSEE

The highest marks scored in Class VI and IX were 292 out of 300 and 388 out of 400, respectively. The scorecards of individual candidates are available on the NTA portal https://aissee.nta.nic.in.

Streamlining the AISSEE e-Counseling Process: Important Dates and Guideline

In an effort to enhance transparency and minimize human intervention in the admission process, the selection of school choices by the candidate and allotment of slots for medical examination will be done through e-counselling. This year, the qualified candidates will be able to opt for seat allocation in multiple schools out of the existing 33 Sainik Schools and new 18 schools through e-counselling.

The e-counselling portal has already been made live on https://mes.ncog.gov.in/sainikschoolecounselling. Candidates will have a clear window of eight days (March 06-13, 2023) to fill their choices for admission in the first round. The schedule for subsequent rounds of admission for vacant seats will be published on the e-counselling portal after completion of admissions in Round-I. It is advised that candidates keep themselves updated on the schedule by regularly visiting the portal.

All India Sainik School Examination by NTA, the Sainik School Counselling Procedure 2023 will begin. Interested candidates must register or sign up on the official portal using their AISSEE Admit Card 2023 Application Number. All candidates will have the option to choose at least one and a maximum of ten schools in order of priority from among all the new Sainik Schools available for admission.

Commencement of First Round Sainik School e-Counselling

The allotment of seats for each Sainik School is determined by the merit obtained in the entrance exam. During the First Round of Sainik School e-Counselling Process 2023, selected candidates will be given two options: either to accept or decline their selection. Candidates who accept their selection/allotted seat must confirm their admission by paying the fees within the specified time period.

Are you looking for a second chance to secure admission to a Sainik School? The Second Round of Sainik School e-Counselling may be just what you need! If you were not satisfied with your allotted seat in the First Round or were not allotted any school, you can apply for the Second Round to compete for remaining available or unfilled vacancies in the Sainik Schools.

To participate in the Second Round of e-Counselling Process, you must once again select schools based on your priority after the First Round of Sainik School e-Counselling 2023. A new merit list will be published for each Sainik School, and seat allotment will be announced.

If you are selected through the Second Round of Counselling Process, you will need to pay the Sainik School Admission Fees and complete all the necessary formalities for Sainik School Admission Procedure 2023.
